Chile has never won even once in a major tournament. In fact, Chile is one of the four teams that started the Copa America in 1916 along with Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay. Chile's previous best achievement is the third ranked the 1962 World Cup held in their own country. This victory certainly is a great pride for Chile.
